Calls settings
Choose which apps open the Calls bar automatically, and how long a deleted call can still be restored.
Click your account chip at the bottom of the sidebar, choose Settings, then open Calls in the Features group. The tab is there on accounts with Calls, and it stays while calls you recorded are still on this Mac.

Open automatically
When a call starts in one of these apps, Cluinn opens the Calls bar and you press Start. Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, GoTo Meeting, Whereby, Slack huddles, Discord and Microsoft Teams in the browser are covered from the first day (the Teams desktop app is hit-or-miss; see What Calls does). The app you record a call in is added to the list the first time you press Start.
- Edit apps adds any other app. Cluinn treats it as being in a call once it starts using your microphone.
- Hover an app and click × to take it off the list. The bar stops opening for that app, and you can still start a call there with
⌘\.
This part of the page needs Pro. On Basic it’s hidden, and Deleted calls below stays for calls already saved on this Mac.
Deleted calls
Empty automatically (“Kept so you can restore them, then erased for good.”) sets how long a deleted call can still be restored: Never, After 7 days, After 30 days (the default), After 90 days or After 1 year. The line under it shows how many deleted calls there are and the space they take.
If a shorter setting would erase calls you deleted a while ago, Cluinn asks first and says how many. Cancel leaves the setting as it was. A longer setting, or Never, applies at once. The setting is kept on this Mac only.
