Contact & support
How to reach the Cluinn team, from in-app feedback and error reports to the contact form, and what to include in a bug report.
Send feedback from the app
To tell us about a bug or an idea, click the Feedback icon at the bottom of the sidebar, next to your account chip. A box opens (“Found a bug or have an idea? Tell us what’s on your mind — we read everything.”). Write your message and press Send, and it comes straight to us. We read all of it, but we can’t answer feedback sent this way. If you need a reply, write to us instead (below).
Report an error
If something fails, the message that appears usually has a Report button. Click it and the details come to us automatically, which is more useful than a description. Your recordings and transcripts are never attached.
Expected messages, such as reaching a monthly limit or being offline, don’t offer Report, because nothing went wrong. Troubleshooting covers those.
Write to us
Use the contact form, or email support@cluinn.com, and we’ll get back to you. When you’re reporting a bug, three things make it much faster to fix:
- what you were doing when it happened, and what you expected instead;
- the exact wording of any message you saw;
- your app version, from the macOS menu bar: Cluinn → About Cluinn.
Before you write
Most common problems have a quick fix in Troubleshooting: the “Cluinn is damaged” warning, paste not working, a missing permission prompt or wrong speaker names on a call. The FAQ covers the rest.
Privacy & billing
- Privacy questions: see our privacy policy. Your audio is never stored on our servers and never backed up. Where encrypted backup is switched on for your account, an encrypted copy of your calls, dictation transcripts, notes and folders is kept on our servers. More in Sync & backup.
- Billing, plans and complimentary codes: see Account & billing and Plans & trials.
