What’s new The bigger changes to Cluinn, explained.

Cluinn updates itself. These are the changes worth knowing about.

Plans, simplified — and your Mac does the transcribing

Two plans, and one way to try everything

Basic is dictation. Pro is dictation plus Calls — the live panel during a meeting, the saved transcript, and everything you can ask a call afterwards.

Trying Calls now works one way: the free trial. Every plan is offered with one, it is full Pro whichever plan you picked, and the length and the amount are both shown at checkout before your card is used. Cancel any time before it ends and nothing is charged.

The one-time 60 minutes of Calls that used to come with Basic is retired. If you want Calls, the trial is a fuller look at it than that ever was.

Your Mac does the transcribing

Cluinn transcribes on your own Mac wherever it can: on a recent Apple Silicon Mac with an active plan, your speech becomes text on the machine itself — no external speech model, no audio uploaded. On an Intel Mac, during a trial, or any time Cluinn can't run the on-device model, the audio is sent to our servers to be turned into text and discarded straight after.

Nothing to switch on, and nothing to choose. Cluinn uses the machine when the machine can do it.

Cluinn is here.

An illustration of someone at a desk, headphones on, leaning back with their eyes closed.

Cluinn is out. It has spent a long time in private hands getting quietly good at three things — and today all three are yours.

Talk, and it's written

Hold one key, say the thing, and clean text lands in whatever you were already looking at — an email, a Slack reply, a doc, a comment. Nothing to switch to, no transcript to copy out. It punctuates, it corrects itself as it goes, and you can teach it the names and words you actually use.

An assistant that sits in the call with you

Cluinn follows your meetings and answers on the spot: the figure you can't recall, the objection you didn't see coming, the acronym the other side just dropped. On your screen, and nobody else's.

Your recap, before you've closed the window

Summary, decisions and to-dos, written the second you hang up. Every call stays searchable afterwards, and you can ask it questions in plain language.

How to start

Cluinn is a Mac app and it's free to download. Basic covers dictation. Pro adds Calls. Every plan is offered with a free trial of all Pro features — a card is required, the length and the amount are shown at checkout, and you can cancel any time before it ends.

Updates arrive quietly in the background, so you'll always be on the newest build. The ones worth a look will show up here.
